Covetousness, The Eternal Waste of Stuff

Is it wrong to want nice things? Is it wrong to be ambitious or successful? A man requested that Jesus intervene in a dispute with his brother over their inheritance. Jesus refused. Jesus' reason was that the decision would be dangerous for the man's future. Covetousness is desire on fire. It promises a false future we cannot secure.
